We made it!

The rest of the night just flew by with the pajama party and a giant game of twister!

By now the moralers have left, and so have volunteers, hopefully the dancers and chairs are getting well-deserved rest!

Thank you so much for being a part of BUDM 2010 and helping to raise over $30,000 to help fight pediatric HIV.

The tiredness sets in... but we still take time to learn!

We just finished playing a fabulous Jeopardy game featuring facts about Pediatric HIV/AIDS, HIV/AIDS in general, and HIV/AIDS around the world! Jess secured the game when she correctly answered that 14% of deaths due to HIV/AIDS are in children.

It's almost 4 AM and we're still dancing!

Hour after hour

The hours keep passing full of fun and dancing!

Beach hour has ended, and our male bikini wearer won the surfing contest by a cheering vote of the masses!

Now we have started Highlighter Hour! The white shirts are out, and people are glowing under the blacklight!!

Cha Cha Cha

The dancers are back in pairs, but this time for the Chacha courtesy of the Ballroom club!

Up on those toes to dance, dance, dance!

Reppin' our School

We are so happy to be hosting the BU DJ club for the begging of this current hour, Terrier Pride!

The scarlet and white all around show our pride in our school!

HALFWAY THERE!!!

Wooooo!! We're halfway there! 9 hours down, 9 more to go!

One of our dancers was so excited to be brought some nice sturdy shoes so that she can keep up her spirit and feet!

We may be halfway through, but we still have lots of dancing ahead of us. We are in the midst of the Jersey Shore hour and are very excited to the many activities and costumes to come...

Super Delightful Salsa Dance

As a break from the sets of rocking out, BU Salsa taught us basic salsa dancing and all our dancers were able to step, turn, and salsa across the dance floor!

The Spotlights

Currently the dancers dressed as a variety of celebrities are rocking out to Fighting Friday, our super awesome guest band!

They look fabulous as they finish sipping their ginger ale and jump to the music (some even in heels!)

Two more Dancer Stories

Dance Marathon is awesome!We just changed for Dancing with the Stars Hour - our team dressed up as the Bachelor and his Bachelorettes! Excited for many more hours of dancing!!! Sounds like the band just started - gotta get back out there! Kayla and Kimberly, Team SED

Three AWESOME Performances!!

BUDM just witnessed three stellar performances from Dance Theater Group, Chordially Yours, and BU On Tap. The performances were really top-notch, and people seemed really excited to see them! The night's wearing on, but our dancers aren't showing any signs of fatigue! Here are some pictures:

A Dancer's Perspecitve

I had no idea what I was getting into when I first signed up, but DM has proved to be a great event full of surprises and lots of different activities from theme hours to games to word searches and Sudoku posted on the walls when you want to take a break. I am super happy that I decided to give DM a try!

We just had the pleasure of three great performances by In Achord, The Edge, and Encore!

Play Ball!

Baseball, basketball, tennis, soccer...

Sports hour has started!!

The Space Jam theme has gotten our feet moving, and with sweatbands galore we will dance through our sports hour.

Disney

Disney hour is in full swing!

We have had an awesome guitar contest and costume contest for the Disney theme hour!

Inspiration

Step about Boston is just finishing their performance and it is time to start learning the hourly line dance, so energy is high!



We also had two amazing boys tell us their story of living with HIV. Everyone in the gym was enthralled and greatly moved. They have given us the inspiration that will last us the next 17 hours!

It has STARTED!!!

We are all so excited and pumped to have started the dancing!

All the dancers have checked in, gotten their shirts and smiles and are in the gym getting their groove on.

The chairs are ready, the gym is ready, and the dancers are getting ready...

We are one hour away from BU's best Dance Marathon ever!
